Background

Hunger affects a child's ability to learn and grow. We have grown up never having to worry about when our next meal would be. We've been able to come home from school and have a nutritious snack everyday. We want to help be part of the change for those who are not afforded the same opportunities.

Kartwheels 4 Kids got its inspiration from Sylvia Rozines, a Holocaust survivor of the Lodz ghetto. Her stories and memories of hunger had a major impact on our lives and we were determined to make a difference in the lives of children suffering from hunger today.

K4K grew from a small backyard fundraiser in 2014 to a 501c3 charity block party event, with more people attending each year.
